How to Determine Alpine Ski Pole Length?

By Height Measurement:
Body height is used to determine your ski pole length. Stand with your back against a wall and your feet together. Look staight forward. Place a book or a ruler on the top of your head and push it against the wall (make sure it is horizontal). Measure distance from the floor and up to the book/ruler, etc. Determine your ski pole length from our ski pole length chart below.
