Skating is great fun, both ice skating and inline skating. But it is very important that the skates fit well to get the most out of it. Actually, if the skates are too big, og too wide, your feet will move / slide inside the skates, and you will get less control. And if the skates are too small, or too narrow, it will feel uncomfortable, resulting in poorer performance. 

Because of this, it is very important to make sure you choose the right skate size (length), as well as a proper skate width. Let us help you to choose the right skate width with out Skates Widt Chart below:        


Skate Width Chart

Understand what the letters means when it comes to skate width. 
 
Skate Width EE:

Skate width EE means EXTRA WIDE that the skates are extra wide.

Perfect for:
If you have wide feet, and in general need extra wide shoes, EE is the skate width for you. Note that if your feet are just a little wide, EE will be too wide for you, resulting in poorer performance because the feet will be able to move/slide inside the skates. 


Skate Width E:
 
Skate width E means WIDE skates.

Perfect for:
Choose skate width E if you have wide feet and find standard width shoes a lite too narrow. If you think you are between skate width E and EE, E is probably a better choice, because it is better that the skates are sligthty too narrow than slightly too wide.


Skate Width R:
 

Skate width D means SLIGHTLY WIDE skates.

Perfect for:

Skate width R fits in between skate width D (standard width), and skate width E (wide skates). It is a common minunderstanding that R means "regular". It does not! Please note that skate width R is slightly wider than standard skate width (D). 


Skate Width D:
 

Skate width D means STANDARD width skates.

Perfect for:

Skate width D will fit most people. If you use standard width shoes, skate width D is probably right for you.


Skate Width R:
 

Skate width D means SLIGHTLY WIDE skates.

Perfect for:

Skate width R fits in between skate width D (standard width), and skate width E (wide skates). It is a common minunderstanding that R means "regular". It does not! Please note that skate width R is slightly wider than standard skate width (D).
 

Skate Width C:
 

Skate width C means NARROW skates.

Perfect for:

Do you have narrow feet, and use narrow shoe? Skate width C is the right skate width for you!
